Pastor Smith started Pastoring at EHC on Sunday, September 6, 2020 and was ordained on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Pastor Junior W. Smith has a profound devotion to God and a deep love for people. Originally from Jamaica, Pastor Smith relocated to Canada in July 2011, where he has consistently touched lives through his diverse ministries. As the Digital Pastor at Crossroads Christian Communications Inc., Junior Smith wears many hats: he is a recording artist, actor, teacher, preacher, playwright, director, motivational speaker, emcee, and radio announcer. His dynamic presence has been featured on “100 Huntley Street,” Crossroads’ flagship television program, where he has served as a panel guest, performer, Bible teacher, and co-host.

Pastor Smith’s unique blend of passion encompasses the arts, media, music, television, and education. His artistic talents make him a multifaceted asset, seamlessly integrating his gifts and talents across various platforms. With over 10 years of radio broadcasting experience, including stints at LOVE101FM in Jamaica and hosting “Reflections” and “Island Style” on JOYRADIO, Junior brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his ministry. He has also made significant contributions to community radio stations like ROSES 88.9 FM in Jamaica and G98.7FM in Canada.

Educationally, Pastor Smith holds a Teachers Diploma in Drama in Education from Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica, a bachelor’s degree in Religious Education from Tyndale University College, and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Tyndale Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, set to graduate in spring 2025.

In addition to his ministerial roles, Pastor Smith is a recording artist who has received accolades for his music, including the award-winning “Higher Ground” album in 2017. He is also a sought-after emcee and speaker, lending his talents and passion across the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA). As the founder of Life Rock Air Inc., an online radio station, Junior continues to impact lives through his ministry.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Smith is a dedicated family man, married to Kerry, and blessed with two daughters, Awrayna and Alaya. His commitment to Christ, authenticity, and empowering others exemplifies his pastoral heart and unwavering faith.
